Description
This small sub alpine meadow in the North Cascades of Washington State is an absolute riot of wildflowers in the early summer. That same riot attracts flying insects in numbers of truly biblical proportions, including mosquitoes (my personal favorite). So it's understandable that spiders would find this place attractive...hence the name. Having said that, it's a remarkably beautiful little valley that's accessible to humans only by trail.
