Description
A full moon sets over Crescent Bay on the south shore of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, a part of the Salish Sea shared by Canada and the USA. In this time exposure, the waves breaking on the near shore rocks are blurred by their motion. A strong westerly wind moves the low clouds adding to the sense of motion. And a bonus meteor is visible in the dark blue sky. The large "star" above the reflected shore lights is Jupiter.
